NASHUA, New Hampshire — The Brandeis University volleyball team beat the Rivier University Raiders in four sets Tuesday night, 25-15, 25-14, 22-25, 25-16. With the win the Judges improve to 13-11, guaranteeing at least a .500 record heading into the UAA Tournament. Rivier falls to 17-10 with the loss.

Freshman Marissa Borgert (Blaine, Minn. / Spring Lake Park) contributed in all five of the major categories, with eight kills, a team-high 19 assists, five digs, three service aces, and three block assists.

Three other Judges had eight or more kills. Junior Shea Decker-Jacoby (Los Angeles, Calif. / Marymount) led with ten, freshman Clare Meyers (Richfield, Wisc. / Slinger) had nine, and junior Kirsten Frauens (Webster, N.Y. / Webster Schroeder) had eight apiece. Decker-Jacoby hit an efficient .360, with only one attack error in the match on 25 attempts.

Junior Marlee Nork (Chicago, IL / Walter Payton College Prep) was the other main setter for the Judges, amassing 18 assists.

Junior Yvette Cho (San Diego, Calif. / Rancho Bernardo) had a match-high 17 digs. Decker-Jacoby also had eight digs.

Aside from Borgert, three other Brandeis players tied for a team-high three service aces: Decker-Jacoby, Cho, and Nork.

Sophomore Emma Bartlett (Duxbury, Mass. / Duxbury) had a team-high four blocks (one solo, three assists).
