The Judges got wins from junior Ed Colvin in the 5K and senior Alex Kramer in the 1,500 in their spring debut at the Tufts Snowflake Classic. The men placed 11th and the women tied for 20th.
In a heat that saw first and sixth place separated by barely more than half a second, senior Alex Kramer missed qualifying for the finals by 0.32 seconds.
Senior Alex Kramer will represent the Judges at the 2013 NCAA Division III Men's Indoor Track and Field championships. He is seeded 10th in the mile run and will compete at North Central College in Illinois on March 8-9.
Alex Kramer (mile run) and Vincent Asante (55m dash) won UAA titles, while Mik Kern (mile) and Kim Farrington (triple jump) were runners-up. The women finished sixth and the men were seventh in the team standings.

Senior Mik Kern turned in the third-fastest time in the mile run in Division III this season, while Vincent Asante won the 55-meter dash with a pr and the sixth-best time in DIII.
