Junior Paul Norton became the Brandeis men's cross country team's first All-American since 1999 today, finishing seventh overall out of 276 runners at the NCAA Division III championships in Cleveland. Norton helped the Judges to a 24th-place finish out of 32 teams.
Thanks a third-place finish by junior Paul Norton, the Brandeis men's cross country team earned a return trip to the NCAA championships. The Judges came in fourth-place finish at regionals, with sophomores Marc Boutin and Chris Brown earning All-New England honors for the second year in a row.
Junior Paul Norton had the best finish by a Brandeis runner at the University Athletic Association championships in five years, taking runner-up honors at the 2009 UAA championships hosted by Case Western Reserve. As a team, the Judges finished in fifth place, one spot down from a year ago.
