    Sophomore Marie Lemay (Saco, Maine) improved by more than 60 places to help the Brandeis women's cross country team to a 13th-place finish at the New England Division III championships, up five places from 2007.

    Rookie Alyssa Pisarik (Chelmsford, Mass.) had her best performance as a collegian today, placing 22nd at the University Athletic Association championships in Atlanta. The Judges came in seventh as a team.

    Led by sophomore Grayce Selig (Narberth, Pa.), the Brandeis University women's cross country team finished in eight place overall, but second among Division III teams, at the 42nd annual University of Albany Invitational.

    The Brandeis women's cross country team has earned their first national ranking of the season in the United State Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The Judges are ranked 29th among Division III institutions.

    Sophomore cross country runners Marie Lemay of Saco, Maine, and Paul Norton of Amherst, Mass., and senior forward Ben Premo of Florence, Mass., of the men's soccer team have been selected as the University Athletic Association Athletes of the Week for September 22.
  • Women's cross country comes in third at UMass Dartmouth

    The Brandeis women's cross country team excelled at today's UMass Dartmouth Invitational, as the Judges finished third out of 41 teams. Brandeis finished behind two nationally-ranked squads, including No. 1 Amherst, and two points ahead of 11th-ranked Colby College.
  • Selig tops the field as women's x-country tops Bentley

    Sophomore Grayce Selig (Narberth, Pa.) was the individual race winners today as the Brandeis women's cross country team defeated Bentley College at Weston High School. The Judges were 20-41 victors.
