• Brandeis puts three on All-UAA tennis teams

    Three members of the sophomore class were named the All-UAA tennis teams. Simon Miller was named second-team at No. 3 singles for the men, while Mackenzie Gallegos and Rachel Rosman were second-team at No. 1 doubles.

    Sophomore Rachel Rosman went 6-0 on the weekend, while classmate Mackenzie Gallegos went 5-1, as the Brandeis women's tennis team finished in sixth place at the UAA Tennis Championships. The Judges blanked Case, 9-0, in the consolation semifinals, but fell to NYU, 5-3, in the fifth-place match today.
  • Rosman wins twice, but Judges fall to No. 14 WashU

    The Brandeis women's tennis team took two points off No. 14 Washington University, as sophomore Rachel Rosman won at No. 1 singles and teamed with classmate Mackenzie Gallegos at No. 1 doubles for a pair of wins, but the Judges fell short in their upset bid, 7-2, against No. 14 Washington Univ. in the first round of the UAA tournament.
  • Brandeis schedule changes, April 22

    Because of inclement weather, the Brandeis-Amherst baseball game scheduled for April 21 at 3:30 p.m. has been postponed. It will be made up on Monday, April 27 at 4 p.m. Additionally, the game scheduled for April 23 at Roger Williams University has been cancelled so that RWU can make up a conference game. There is no make-up date scheduled.
  • Women's tennis pushes No. 29 MIT to the brink before dropping 5-4 decision

    Junior Ariana Sanai and sophomore Mackenzie Gallegos each won both of their matches on the day, but 29th-ranked MIT came out on top of a marathon match at fifth singles to escape the Judges with a 5-4 victory in the women's tennis team's final tune-up for UAAs.

    SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - The Brandeis women’s tennis team dropped a match to #26 Skidmore College, 6-3, this past Sunday. Skidmore took all three doubles victories while the Judges only picked up three wins all coming in singles matches. With the loss, the Judges fall to 10-6 on the season while Skidmore gets to 14-4.

    The Brandeis women's tennis team was successful at the top of the line-up today, winning the first five singles and two doubles matches in a 7-2 victory over local rival Babson College today.

    Sophomore Mackenzie Gallegos dropped just three games in two matches today as the Brandeis women's tennis team had no problem dispatching Connecticut College, 9-0. Gallegos and classmate Rachel Rosman cruised to an 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles, and she took a 6-1, 6-1, decision at No. 4 singles.

    LOWELL, Mass. – The Brandeis University men's and women’s track and field team competed at the George Davis Invitational on April 11 at UMass Lowell. In a non-scoring meet, the men’s team had one first-place finish and one second-place finish, while the women’s team had four first-place finishes, two second-place finishes and one third-place finish.
  • Women's tennis drops 8-1 decision to No. 19 Wellesley

    Despite a three-set victory at No. 2 singles by senior captain Gabrielle Helfgott, the Brandeis women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision to Wellesley College. The Blue are ranked No. 19 in the nation.
