BILL SHIPMAN

• Head coach of men’s and women’s fencing, 1981-2018
• Named USFCA National Coach of the Year in 1994, 10-time conference Coach of the Year
• Coached Judges to five UAA titles and 13 Northeast Fencing Conference titles
• Mentored 18 All-Americans, including Brandeis’s first Olympic medalist
• Also coached golf, 2001-10 

Inducted into Brandeis Athletic Hall of Fame, October 8, 2022
