Drew Michaud was joined by Tristan Boyer, Alex Cohen and Lily Medici in becoming eligible for Academic All-America honors.

The Judges honored 12 seniors and grad students as they won in extra innings in the opener then got a great pitching performance from Christian Tejada in the second game.

Grad student Marc Maestri went 6.2 innings and allowed just two hits through the first six innings, but Western New England scored seven runs in the last three frames to blow things open.

Brandeis scored twice in the ninth inning but fell just short.

The Spartans won 27-2 and 13-2. Sam Nugent had two hits and pitched two scoreless innings of relief.
