Andrew Vatistas joined Brandeis in 2017 as the University's first Assistant Athletic Director for External Relations. In his role, he is responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing marketing, promotions, and community relations campaigns for the department's 19 varsity sports. Additionally, Vatistas manages branding initiatives, oversees the corporate sponsorship program, and collaborates with Brandeis community members in an effort to increase school spirit.
Vatistas joined Brandeis after five years as the marketing manager for Harvard University, where he created marketing and promotional plans for the Crimson's 42 sports.
In addition to his time at Harvard, Vatistas also worked in the athletic department at Northeastern University in athletic operations and as a marketing intern with the Philadephia 76ers and with the University of New Hampshire Athletic Department.
Vatistas earned a B.S. in Sport Management and an MBA, both from Endicott College in Beverly, MA.
