WALTHAM, Mass. – Brandeis University junior Asher Kaplan of Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, has earned University Athletic Association (UAA) Pitcher of the Week honors for the week ending April 3.

Kaplan led the Judges to their lone win of a UAA weekend at Case Western Reserve, a 2-1 victory on Saturday, April 2, in game 2 of a doubleheader. He tossed his second career complete game, holding the Spartans to one unearned run over nine innings, allowing six hits and two walks with two strikeouts. Kaplan earned his first win of the season, and he is now ranked third in the UAA with a 2.45 ERA. This was his second career UAA Pitcher of the Week honor.
