WALTHAM, Mass. - Brandeis University senior midfielder Corey Bradley of Holyoke, Mass., was selected to the University Athletic Association (UAA) men's soccer All-Association second team. Sophomore defenders David McCoy of Weymouth, Mass., and Ari Silver of Princeton, N.J., were both honorable mention All-UAA honorees.

Bradley, a co-captain, was an All-UAA honorable mention in 2008. He tied for third on the team in scoring, this season, with three goals and four assists for 10 points. Two of his goals came in UAA play. Bradley notched a game-winner on Oct. 3 in the Judges' 1-0 win at Case Western Reserve University in the 44^th minute. That win snapped a 14-match UAA winless streak for the Judges. He also scored in the 88^th minute of a 3-2 loss to NYU in the Judges' regular-season finale on Nov. 6. Bradley's other goal came in a 3-2 win over Colby-Sawyer on Oct. 8, a tally that came just 12 seconds after the Chargers had opened the scoring. For his career, Bradley had eight goals and seven assists for 23 points.

McCoy and Silver anchored the Brandeis back line. McCoy started 16 of the 18 games at center back for the Judges, while Silver started all 18 contests, mostly at left back. "David was the true leader of the defense, the heart and soul of the Brandeis backline," said head coach Mike Coven of McCoy. "He battled a couple of tough injuries this year, but that did not stop him from leaving his mark in every game he played."

Of Silver, Coven said, "Ari managed to make a constant impact in the defensive third of the field, even though he was playing out of position. He is a tireless worker who is also fantastic in the air, coming forward on all Brandeis set pieces."

Overall this season, Brandeis finished 6-10-2, 1-5-1 in the UAA, good for seventh place in Coven's 37^th season on the sidelines. Of the Judges' 10 defeats this season, seven of them were by just one goal.
