Men's tennis drops 6-3 decision to No. 12 Amherst

BABSON PARK, Mass. -- The Brandeis men's tennis team dropped its second-straight 6-3 decision against a nationally-ranked team on March 27, falling to 12th-ranked Amherst at Babson.

Junior transfer Nick White (Wellesley, Mass./Wellesley) led the Judges with wins at No. 1 singles and doubles. White teamed with junior Simon Miller (Plantation, Fla./Plantation) for an 8-6 win in doubles before rallying from a set dowin in singles action to take a 0-6, 7-5, 6-4 victory. Rookie Steven Milo (Woodbury, N.Y./Syosset) improved to 11-2 on the season at No. 6 singles with a 6-4, 6-1 win. The Judges dropped two other three-set matches.
