Men's tennis loses at No. 6 Bowdoin, 8-1

BRUNSWICK, Maine -- The Brandeis men's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision at No. 6-ranked Bowdoin College, falling to 6-9 on the season. 

The Judges earned their point at No. 1 doubles, where seniors Steven Milo (Woodbury, N.Y./Syosset) and David Yovanoff (Eden, N.Y./Eden) were 8-6 winners over Doug Caplan and Kyle Wolstencraft. Brandeis had a chance to take a couple of three-set singles matches, but dropped both in third-set super tiebreakers. Milo fell to Noah Bragg of the Polar Bears, 7-5, 1-6, 12-10, at No. 1 singles. At No. 6, rookie Danny Lubarsky (Cleveland, Ohio / Hawken School) extended Chase Savage of Bowdoin before falling, 3-6, 6-2, 10-7. 

The Judges have two local matches, hosting Clark for their Senior Day on Monday and traveling to MIT on Tuesday before heading to Florida for the University Athletic Association tournament next weekend.
