MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – For the third year in a row, the Brandeis men's tennis team has reached the semifinal round of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association tournament.

For the second year in a row, the Judges have a doubles team in competition on the final day of the competition. Senior Jackson Kogan (Los Angeles, Calif./Windward School) and rookie Adam Tzeng (Eagle, Idaho/Eagle), who entered the tournament as the second seed, are poised to live up to their billing. The duo knocked off Finkelman and Sweeney of Wesleyan, 8-4, in the round of 16 then topped Bowdoin's Zhao and Fortier by the same score in the quarterfinals. The Judges met third-seeded Cuba and Eazor of host Middlebury in the semifinal round before falling, 8-3.

In the lone singles match for the Judges on the second day of action at ITAs, sophomore Nikhil Das (Providence, R.I./Moses Brown School) fell to eighth-seed Arturo Kam of Williams, 6-3, 6-0. Kam advance to the singles semifinals.

Kogan reached the semifinals last year with sophomore Anupreeth Coramutla (Monroe Township, N.J. / Phillips Andover); in 2016, Michael Arguello '17 reached the singles finals.
