Getting to know Matt
My planned major is: Economics.
My favorite high school/non-Brandeis athletic moment is: Competing at states for the first time. I was the youngest kid on the 4x200 relay that year (my sophomore year) and I remember I was super nervous going into the meet. We then set a school record in the 4x200 relay.
My goals for the 2017-18 season are: Set a personal record in the 100 and 200, and be a staple in the 4x100 relay while actually learning how to long jump properly.
Outside of my sport, my favorite thing to do (or that I am looking forward to trying) at Brandeis is: Weightlifting! It's quite soothing to me and it's my way to escape life for an hour or two at a time.
My favorite pro or college sports team is: The Mets, because I love baseball and the Mets have always been my favorite.
My favorite pro or college sports athlete is: Giancarlo Stanton, because he hits baseballs harder and further then anyone around.
