WESTON, Mass. – The Brandeis University track and field teams had their first outdoor meet since 2019 today as the Judges took on Division II Southern New Hampshire University at Weston High School. The meet was non-scoring, as the visitors were competing with a limited roster due to illness.

Brandeis had two individuals and one relay reach the top 50 of the NCAA Division III rankings at the meet. On the men's side, 2020 indoor heptathlon All-American Jack Allan (Wrentham, Mass./King Phillip Regional)  turned in the season's sixth-best performance in the long jump, going 7.08 meters (23 feet, 2 ¾ inches) on his third jump of the day. Allan also bested the field in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.14 seconds.

For the women, senior Andrea Bolduc (Auburn, Mass./Auburn) bested the field in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:50.14, good for the 44^th-fastest in Division III. The Judges also just made the top 50 in the 4x100-meter relay, as the team of junior Anna Touitou (Pleasantville, N.Y./Pleasantville), first-years Ianna Gilbert (Queens, N.Y. / Young Women's Leadership School of Queens) and Alya Campbell (Eastchester, N.Y. / Eastchester) and junior Devin Hiltunen (Quincy, Mass./No. Quincy) ran 50.09 seconds. The time bested their SNHU opponents by more than a second-and-a-half, and ranks 50^th nationally.

Other top-10 performances on the UAA list for the men came from sophomore Thomas Vandalovsky (Ridgewood, N.J. / Ridgewood), who ranks fourth in the conference in the shotput with a heave of 12.50 meters (41 feet, ¼ inch); junior Jamie O'Neill (Auburndale, Mass./Newton North), who is ninth in the 400-meters with a time of 53.40 seconds; senior Aaron Baublis (Westborough, Mass. / Westborough) and rookie Ori Slotky (Closter, N.J. / Northern Valley Regional), who are ninth and 10^th, respectively, in the 110-meter hurdles with times of 16.95 and 17.70 seconds; senior Breylen Ammen (Lincoln, Mass. / Lincoln Sudbury) and rookie Eitan Ventura (Roswell, Ga. / Lassiter), who are both seventh in the pole vault at 3.66 meters (12 feet even); and rookies Parker Jones (Westbury, N.Y. / Packer Collegiate Institute) and Slotky, who are sixth and eighth in the triple jump at 12.35 meters (40-6 ¼) and 12.12 meters (39-9 ¼).

On the women's side, the Judges now rank among the top 10 in the UAA in the 400-meters, thanks to junior Devin Hiltunen (Quincy, Mass./North Quincy), who ran 1:01.49, good for seventh, and rookie Ianna Gilbert (Queens, N.Y. / Young Women's Leadership School of Queens), who ran 1:02.63, to rank ninth; in the 1,500, where Bolduc ranks sixth and junior Natalie Hattan (Sugar Land, Texas / Clements) is seventh in 4:51.03; in the 100-meter hurdles, where rookie Alya Campbell (Eastchester, N.Y. / Eastchester) is seventh in 16.64 seconds and senior Tessa Holleran (Norwell, Mass. / Norwell) is ninth in 17.36 seconds; the 400-meter hurdles, where senior Lydia Harris (Damariscotta, Maine / Lincoln Academy) ranks sixth in 1:10.30, one spot ahead of sophomore Yahni Lapa (West Newton, Mass. / Newton North) at 1:10.51; and in the triple jump, where Lapierre is eighth with a distance of 9.52 meters (31-3).

The Judges are back in action next weekend when they are slated to host Babson and Plymouth State at Weston High School.
