BOSTON, Mass. -- Running without several of their top
performers, the Brandeis men's cross country team finished 27th
overall and 11th among Division III schools at the Open New England
Championships in Franklin Park today.
The Judges were paced by senior Mike Stone (E.
Falmouth, Mass.), who came in 82nd overall with a time of 26:02
over the 8K course. He was 23rd among Division III runners. Rookie
Chris Brown (No. Chelmsford, Mass.) was the next
Brandeis finisher in 93rd place (27th DIII) right behind with a
time of 26:10. Other scorers for the Judges were rookie
Marc Boutin (Westford, Mass.) in 120th place with
a time of 26:28; rookie Alex Hulse (Aurora, Colo.)
in 27:00, good for 173rd; and sophomore Ben Bray
(Duxbury, Mass.) who was 211th in 27:26.
