CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Brandeis Women's Fencing Team faced three of its toughest opponents Wednesday night at MIT and, although all fenced well, fell to all three schools. While the epee squad beat their opponents 5-4, the foil and sabre squads were defeated 4-5, losing 14-13 by a single touch. The next match was against MIT, a match lost by the Judges by an 18-9 mark. Hanley was undefeated, and Senior Julia Mouk (Rocky Point, N.Y./Chapin School) carried the foil squad by going 2-1. The sabre squad nearly overcame the opposing team but lost 4-5. The final match was a 20-7 loss at the hands of Harvard.
