Behind the stellar fencing of junior epeeist Emma Larkin (Montclair, N.J./Montclair-Kimberly) and rookie foil Vikki Nunley (Glen Gardner, N.J./Voorhees), the Brandeis women's fencing team captured its second-consecutive Northeast Fencing Conference crown. The Judges posted a 6-0 record in their second NFC meet of the season, including wins over Ivy League squads from Dartmouth and Brown. Larkin, who finished 11-1 on the afternoon, posted the decisive win in a 14-13 victory Brown, who ended up as the conference runners-up. Nunley led the team in wins on the afternoon, going 14-4.
