WALTHAM, Mass. – Two members of the Brandeis University women's soccer squad have earned United Soccer Coaches All-Region II honors. Senior Juliette Carreiro of Upton, Massachusetts, earned second-team All-Region honors, while junior Sydney Lenhart of Tucson, Arizona, landed on the third team.

Carreiro, a forward who earned third-team All-America honors in 2021, led the Judges in scoring for the second year in a row. She finished with nine goals and six assists for a career-best 24 points, including two goals and an assist in UAA play. Carriero had a point in 13 of the team's 17 contests this season, including a two-goal game in a non-conference contest against Roger Williams. She scored her UAA goals against Emory and NYU. Carreiro finished her career with 25 goals – only the 14th player to reach the milestone – and 71 points, finishing ninth on Brandeis's career list. Carreiro was an All-Region first tea member a year ago.

Lenhart, a midfielder, finished fifth on the team with 11 points and fourth with five goals. She netted the game-winning goal in three of the Judges' seven wins, helping defeat Lasell, Bridgewater State and Johnson and Wales. Lenhart has started all but six games over the past two seasons. She has nine goals and four assists for 22 points in her career. This is her first All-Region selection.

The Brandeis women's soccer team finished with a 7-8-2 record in head coach Mary Shimko's second season. They will have to replace their top four scorers for next year.

Carreiro is a 2018 graduate of Nipmuc Regional High School.

Lenhart is a 2020 graduate of Salpointe Catholic High School.
