WALTHAM, Mass. -- Brandeis women's tennis earned a win this afternoon, defeating Simmons College 6-3. This was the second win for the Judges in their two-game fall season.
The Judges(2-0) were victorious in two out of three doubles matches against the Simmons Sharks (7-4). Senior Rachel Rosman (Bonita Springs, FL/Estero) and sophomore Faith Broderick (Washingtonville, NY/Washingtonville) won handedly at the No. 1 spot, with a final score of 8-1.
In singles play, senior Mackenzie Gallegos (Friendswood, TX/Friendswood) won her matches 6-3, 6-2. Rookie Alexa Katz had decisive wins in the No. 6 spot, winning 6-1, 6-2.
The Judges return to the court next spring.
