WALTHAM, Mass. - Recent Brandeis University graduate Anat Ben Nun of Haifa, Israel, has added ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District women's track and field first-team honors, as selected by the College Sports Information Director's Association (CoSIDA). She is now available for Academic All-America honors.

Ben Nun, who was presented with Brandeis's Max I. Silber Award as Outstanding Senior Female Athlete, was a three-time All-American in the triple jump for the Brandeis indoor track and field team. Having missed her entire junior season with an injury, Ben Nun finished sixth in the nation in 2009. Her best career performance came as a sophomore, when she was NCAA Division III runner-up in the event. She also finished third as a freshman. Ben Nun was a four-time University Athletic Association champion in the triple jump, three times indoors and once outdoors, with three All-UAA honors in the high jump as well.

Academically, Ben Nun was a five-time Academic All-UAA selection who carried a 3.94 grade point average as a major in International and Global Studies with a minor in peace, conflict & coexistence studies. She earned Phi Beta Kappa honors and was a recipient of a Joseph Linsey Fellowship for her graduate studies. Ben Nun will be attending graduate school in Washington, D.C., at American University for a Masters in International Peace and Conflict Resolution.
