Getting to know Elsie

My favorite part about competing for Brandeis, other than my teammates, is:the familial environment down at Gosman, where all the athletes know each other well and support each other in competition. It's unlike any other community at Brandeis to me.

My favorite non-athletic Brandeis moment is: Attending Chum's coffeehouse music sessions. I love acoustic music and I really admire the local performers who go to Chum's. 

 

My favorite class or professor at Brandeis is: My legal studies class, American Health Care and Policy with Sarah Curi. The professor is really engaging and uses actual court cases and current legislative documents to teach general healthcare policy. I find the discussions in her class to touch on a lot of personal experiences and reveal many things I didn't know about the "behind the scenes" to those experiences. 

One thing people would be surprised to know about me is: I love animals, especially cats. I own 2 right now, but I plan to be a great pet-owner of cats and dogs when I get my own place.
