#16 CMU downs volleyball, 3-0

PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- The Brandeis volleyball team dropped a second-straight match against a ranked UAA opponent on Sunday, falling in three sets to #16 Carnegie Mellon, 25-13, 25-16, 25-23. 

The Judges were paced by sophomore setter Marlee Nork (Chicago, Ill./Walter Payton College Prep). In addition to coming up one shy of her season-high with 18 assists, Nork had a career-high five kills and seven digs, both second-most on the team. She also had two service aces. 

Rookie outside hitter Emma Bartlett (Duxbury, Mass./Duxbury) had seven kills to lead the team for the third time in as many UAA matches, while sophomore libero Yvette Cho (San Diego, Calif./Rancho Bernardo) added 16 digs. 

The Judges fall to 6-9, 0-3 in the UAA with the loss. They will meet Eastern Connectiut State and Salve Regina next weekend at home in a tri-match on Saturday at 10 a.m. to kick off Homecoming Weekend.
