Kerstin Darsney joined the Brandeis Track and Cross Country staff in August of 2022. 

Darsney graduated from UMass Lowell with B.A. degrees in history and psychology in 2018 and received her masters in education from UML in 2019. Since 2019, she has taught middle school in Methuen and Woburn, Massachusetts, while serving as the jumps and hurdles coach at Andover High School. In 2022, she helped several Andover athletes compete at the New Balance Nationals. 

While competing for DI UMass Lowell, Darsney was a two-year captain for the River Hawks track and field team, earning All-America East honors in long jump, triple jump and high jump in several different seasons. Darsney still holds the school records in the outdoor high jump (5-10 3/4) and triple jump (42-2). She was also named to the America East All-Academic Teams each year she was eligible and was selected as the River Hawks' Academic Athlete of the Year in 2018.
