Men’s Soccer upsets #10 WashU in STL, 2-1

After going to overtime eight times in a nine-game span (with the ninth-game decided in the final minute of regulation), men's soccer traveled to then-10th-ranked Washington University in St. Louis with a 5-4-3 record, needing to salvage a Midwest split to keep their postseason hopes alive. After the Bears scored late in the first half, the Judges struck twice in 128 seconds over their rivals. Josh Ocel '17 scored the tying goal in the 58th minute then assisted Sam Vinson '18 two minutes and eight seconds later for the winner as Brandeis kicked off a five-match winning streak that propelled them to the NCAA tournament.
