Getting to know Fischer:

My favorite part about competing for Brandeis, other than my teammates, is: The opportunity to continue my love for swimming throughout college

My favorite high school/non-Brandeis athletic moment is: I had this one really good meet where I dropped a ton of time and there was a local reporter there so I got in the paper for it

My goal for the 2021-2022 season is: To work as hard as I can and improve as much as possible

My favorite high school class was: Chinese 1-5 because I took it through the entirety of high school and myself and all of my classmates in that class became quite a close group

The thing that attracted me most to Brandeis was: The academic rigor combined with a supportive non-competitive environment

Something new I learned during COVID-19: I'm more of an introvert than I thought

My favorite place to travel is: Germany

I want to study abroad in: Spain because I've always wanted to go, and I'm nearly fluent in Spanish, so it would be fun

My summer job/experience was: I worked at a Calvin Klein retail store

My dream job is: to run an NGO because it would be incredible to know I'm making a difference in people's lives
