Getting to know Leone...

My favorite part about competing for Brandeis, other than my teammates, is: The opportunity to be a part of something greater. Nothing brings people closer together than training every day and working towards a common goal

My favorite athletic moment at Brandeis has been: Beating Bentley in our only dual meet during the COVID season! It was awesome to have an opportunity to compete and coming out with a win against a D2 school was a thrill. Needless to say the Battle of Waltham was settled.

My favorite high school/non-Brandeis athletic moment is: Nothing tops winning against our rival school, Natick, on my senior night. Both teams were undefeated up until that point . That meet decided who would win the Bay State title, and it all came down to the 4x100 freestyle relay. That was probably the most thrilling race of my life, and nothing was more rewarding than coming out with the win and securing the conference championship.

My favorite class at Brandeis is: BIOL 14A (Genetics and Genomics) with Professor Woodruff because the curriculum was interesting, engaging, and relevant to the state of the world in regard to COVID

My favorite place to travel to is: Croatia

My favorite movie of all time is: Grown Ups

My favorite TV Show is: House, M.D.

My favorite song is: Headlines by Drake

My favorite pro sports team is: The Boston Celtics because I am from Boston and I love basketball

Summer Internship: I interned with the NutritionalMatters subdivision of the HealthMatters Group in London
