March 25, 2016Harvard's Adrienne Jarocki won her second sabre title, while Jessie Gottesman-Radanovich of Penn State was victorious in epee and Ohio State's Eleanor Harvey won the foil competition.

Mattos takes individual foil silver, women place third at NEIFC Championships
February 20, 2016The Judges were runners-up in women's sabre and third in foil and epee en route to a third-place overall finish in the three-weapon and six-weapon combined standings.

Women's fencing takes second at Beanpot
February 10, 2016The Judges went 2-1 with wins over MIT and BC and a loss to Harvard. Senior Caroline Mattos went 7-0 on the meet.

Brandeis fencing battles at Duke Invitational
February 07, 2016The Judges went 0-5, but the women's foil squad posted a pair of victories over Duke and #9 Penn State. Rookie foil Joanne Carminucci won 10 matches on the weekend to lead Brandeis.

Women's fencing goes 4-1 at Eric Sollee Invitational
January 30, 2016During a break in the action, the Judges honored their 14 seniors competing in their final regular-season home meet.

Women's fencing defeats Wellesley, 19-8
January 26, 2016The Judges won all three weapons, including an 8-1 sabre win. Sophomore Laura Broffman and junior Nina Sayles went 3-0 for the Judges.

Fencing wins Northeast Fencing Conference women's and combined titles
January 23, 2016The women posted an 11-1 record and tied for the NFC crown with BC, while the men went 9-1 to finish second to Brown. The combined 20-2 mark gives the Judges their first combined NFC title since 2009, while it was the women's first since 2010.

Feller helps women to 2-3 record at Brandeis Invitational
December 06, 2015The Judges defeated Johns Hopkins and Drew, but fell to Yale, St. Johns and Cornell. Liz Feller had a team-high seven wins.

Three fencers claim UAA Athlete of the Week honors, Nov. 24
November 24, 2015Ashley Jean and Nina Sayles were honored for the first time this season for the women, while Kyle Berney was recognized for the second time for the men.

Fencers go undefeated at first Northeast Conference meet of season
November 21, 2015The women went 6-0, while the men were 5-0. The Judges had three wins that avenged losses from '14-'15. Ashley Jean and Nina Sayles of the women's sabre squad each went 14-2.

November 07, 2015Senior Caroline Mattos won the foil event for the first time since her freshman year after adding silver and bronze to her collection as well.
