Bryson sets UAA record in mile run at home

For the third time in her career, and the second time at home, Emily Bryson '19 was crowned a UAA  champion at the conference indoor meet in the Gosman Center, winning the mile run. Thanks to a terrific kick on the last lap, Bryson's time of 4:55.29 erased an Association record that had stood since 2010 by four-hundredths of a second. She would go on to qualify for the NCAA Division III Championships in both the mile run as the third seed and the 3,000-meter run as the seventh-seed. She placed second in her heat in the mile, but finished just out of All-America position in the finals, coming in ninth, while taking 14th place in the 3K.
