Bedor went 15-8 overall in the epee to take an at-large spot in the 2010 national championships, which will be held next week at Harvard.

Fencers compete at Boston Bean Pot tournamentFebruary 24, 2010The Brandeis fencing team had a rare mid-week meet, taking on three local rivals in the Boston Bean Pot tournament. The Judges lost five of six matches, with the only win a victory by the men's team over MIT, 16-11. The women dropped a narrow 14-13 decision to Boston College in which each weapon was decided by one point.

Men's fencing takes fifth at New EnglandsFebruary 21, 2010The combined Brandeis fencing teams finished in third place at the 2010 New England championships at Mount Holyoke, with the men's squad placing fifth overall. Both the foil and saber squads finished in fourth place, while the epee squad was sixth.

Men's fencing drops four at DukeFebruary 06, 2010The Brandeis men's fencing team posted an 0-4 record at the 2010 Duke Invitational today. The Judges losses included matches against top-ranked Penn State and host and tenth-ranked Duke. The team's lone squad victory came in their 14-13 loss to Air Force, when the foilists went 8-1.

Brandeis women go 5-0 at Eric Sollee Invite, topping #8 Penn and NYUJanuary 30, 2010Results from the 2010 Eric Sollee Fencing Invitational (formerly the Brandeis/MIT Invitational) are available here! Scores will be posted at the end of each round. The Brandeis women went 5-0 on the day, upending #8 Penn, 14-13, and earning the UAA crown, 15-12, over NYU. The men went 1-4 with a win over Hunter College.
