Women’s tennis knocks off Skidmore to match Lamanna’s best season

In their final home match of the season, the 19th-ranked women's tennis team faced off against #20 Skidmore College. Having already reached the highest ranking in program history when they went to #18 earlier in the season, the Judges carried a five-match winning streak into the contest. They looked to equal the best season in head coach Ben Lamanna's tenure against the Thoroughbreds, but needed to come from behind to do so. Sabrina Ross-Neergaard '20 and Olivia Leavitt '19 won at the top doubles spot, 8-6, to avoid a sweep, but Brandeis dominated singles, winning four straight-set victories and a fifth in three, to earn their 14th win of the season. The Judges would tie the school record for wins in a season when they defeated NYU at the UAA tournament the following weekend.
