Fencers finish 21st at NCAA Championships
March 23, 2014Junior sabre fencer Adam Mandel was 15th overall, while classmate Noah Berman was 23rd in foil. Mandel (9 pts), Berman (5 pts) and Caroline Mattos (4 pts) helped the Judges to the same finish as in 2013. -
Mattos, Mandel, Berman headed to NCAA Championships
March 11, 2014The Judges will send three fencers to nationals for the second year in a row. Caroline Mattos and Adam Mandel make return trips, Noah Berman has his first berth. NCAAs are at Ohio State March 20-23. -

February 23, 2014Men's and women's foil and men's sabre all placed third behind a pair of Top 10 teams at the University of Pennsylvania. Junior Jess Ochs-Willard had some key bouts in the sabre competition. -
Fencers claim second-straight New England title
February 22, 2014The Brandeis men's and women's fencing team won their second New England Intercollegiate Fencing Championship, defeating Sacred Heart by five points. The Judges won three team weapon titles, one individual goal and two silvers. -
Fencers finish second at Beanpot Tournament
February 12, 2014For the men, it marked their fourth runner-up finish in a row, while it was the women's best showing since 2011. One of the team highlights came in the men's loss to Harvard, where the epee squad upset the Crimson, 5-4. -
Judges defeat No. 10 Duke, roll to perfect record at the Duke Invitational

Brandeis Athletics announces 2013 Hall of Fame Class
July 19, 2013Two teams and six distinguished individuals will join the Joseph M. Linsey Brandeis Athletics Hall of Fame on October 12. This will be the 20th anniversary of the Hall and the 15th induction class.
