Mandel earns All-America honors on second day of NCAA Fencing championships
March 22, 2013Sophomore Adam Mandel rallied with wins in his final four bouts to move from 18th to 12th place and into All-America honors. Junior Julian Cardillo finished in 22nd place in men's foil. The Judges were in 15th place after Day 2. -
Men's fencers kick off 2013 NCAA championships
March 21, 2013Junior Julian Cardillo posted two foil wins in the first three rounds of action, defeating foes from St. John's and North Carolina. Adam Mandel was 3-4 in his first round of sabre action, topping two foes from Penn and one from UNC. -
Brandeis sends three fencers to NCAAs

Morehouse '00, U.S. saber squad finish eighth at London Olympics
August 03, 2012Tim Morehouse (right, photo courtesy fencing.net), a 2009 Brandeis Hall of Famer, won a pair of matches at the London Olympics as the 27th seed to finish in eighth place. The U.S. sabre squad was unable to repeat their silver-medal performance from Beijing, finishing eighth. -
