• Brandeis puts three on All-UAA tennis teams

    Three members of the sophomore class were named the All-UAA tennis teams. Simon Miller was named second-team at No. 3 singles for the men, while Mackenzie Gallegos and Rachel Rosman were second-team at No. 1 doubles.
  • Brandeis schedule changes, April 22

    Because of inclement weather, the Brandeis-Amherst baseball game scheduled for April 21 at 3:30 p.m. has been postponed. It will be made up on Monday, April 27 at 4 p.m. Additionally, the game scheduled for April 23 at Roger Williams University has been cancelled so that RWU can make up a conference game. There is no make-up date scheduled.
  • Men's tennis battles, falls to NYU and Rochester at UAAs

    The men's tennis team had a pair of hard-fought matches, but the Judges were unable to pick up a win at the UAA Championships at Rochester. Brandeis fell to NYU, 5-4, in the consolation semifinals, and 5-3 to Rochester in the seventh-place match. Sophomore Simon Miller emerged undefeated at the No. 3 spot on the weekend.

    Sophomore Simon Miller earned a point at No. 3 singles, but the Brandeis men's tennis team suffered an 8-1 loss to No. 2-ranked Washington University in the UAA quarterfinals. The Judges will face rival NYU in the consolation semifinals tomorrow at 9 a.m.

    The Brandeis men's tennis team got wins at No. 1 doubles from senior Scott Schulman and sophomore Simon Miller and a three-set victory at No. 5 singles from rookie Josh Bookman, but that was all the Judges could muster against MIT in a 7-2 loss as the UAA tournament approaches.

    The Brandeis men's tennis team dropped three matches at the Middlebury Invitational this weekend. The Judges fell to the fourth-ranked hosts, 9-0, and dropped 6-3 decisions to UAA rival NYU and Connecticut College. The Judges split their singles matches in the last two contests, but could not pull out any doubles wins.

    The Brandeis University Department of Athletics and the Friends of Brandeis Athletics (FOBA) are proud to announce the members of the Class of 2009 to the Brandeis Athletics Hall of Fame. The 13th Hall of Fame Class will be inducted at an 11:00 a.m. brunch ceremony at the Westin Hotel in Waltham on November 1.
