March 24, 2013Rookie Caroline Mattos picked up one win on the final day of action to place 23rd in women's foil. The Judges' 19 points were 22nd among 25 schools, while sophomore Adam Mandel's 12th-place finish in men's sabre was second among Division III fencers.

Fencers claim 2013 NEIFC title
February 23, 2013Winning three of the six team weapon titles and a pair of individual crowns, the Brandeis fencers defended their home turf of the Gosman Center. Rookie Caroline Mattos was the runner-up in the women's foil competition.
