Baseball to host first night game against Rivier in ECAC Tournament
May 05, 2008The Brandeis University baseball team has been selected as the No. 4 seed in the ECAC Division III New England Championship tournament. The Judges will take on 5th-seeded Rivier College on May 7. With a start time of 6:00 p.m., it will be the first home night game in Brandeis baseball history. -

Brandeis baseball places four on All-UAA team
March 26, 2008Four members of the Brandeis University baseball team have been selected to the University Athletic Association All-League team. Rookie left fielder Tony Deshler of Pepperell, Mass., earned first-team honors and was selected as the UAA Rookie of the Year. He was joined on the first team by sophomore second baseman John O'Brion of Portland, Maine. Junior 1B Nick Gallagher of Southboro, Mass., and sophomore catcher Artie Posch of Hopedale, Mass., were both second-team selections. -
